prada spring 2010 runway duffel bag

With three back-to-back-to-back (is that even correct?) Prada purchases, I’m currently on a Prada high. And seeing this duffel bag appearing on the Prada Men’s Spring 2010 runway and backstage (first spotted at Bagaholicboy, congrats for being referenced by Prada: the Book, btw!), it’s like taking another happy pill.

The perforated leather on the bag looks oh so soft, which is suddenly punctuated by the Saffiano leather handles. The color combination on this particular piece is so spot-on too. I see that there’s also a ring for a shoulder strap so the ways of carrying the bag can be doubled in an instant. Let’s see if this bag jumps from the runway and into the stores come first quarter next year. I’m excited.

*crosses fingers.

Honestly, it looks really small, but it will do (if the price is right) as my small weekend bag when I hit town to shop or catch a movie.

    Woot!

I think it might be just the right size for me, but we’ll see how it is in person. And of course, price considering. Too bad there’s no Prada store in Oslo. I would have to go overseas to check it out. >.<

i like it too!!! the minute i saw it on bb’s blog, i was instantly attracted to it. the color combo made it just perfect i think. if it is small, it is better, we can use it more often as an everyday bag! excited to see it in stores too…man, dumadami ang wishlist!

I love the colors, too, yed! And you’re right, if it’s small all the better for a city bag. Look at my Prada tote, it’s way too big that the use is kinda limited to travels only. Oh well… Can’t wait for spring!

Look’s a bit like the old SAS-crew bags, and I gotta say I like it!
**Why on eart don’t we have Prada in Norway. Kamikaze is not the same as a Prada store, unfortunately..

This bag reminds me of a more classic version of the LV Beaubourg Sporty which I’ve been pondering over. It’s such a great colour. I don’t think it would fit on a shoulder though (which Beaubourg does). And I know nothing about Prada but is that a shoulder strap ring? Or just a D-ring? That is def an advantage for me because I love hanging stuff of hardware and D-rings of which you can’t do any on the Beaubourg Sporty.

I’m not too sure what that ring is for, but the optimist in me says it’s for a shoulder strap. Hehe. I doubt it would fit in the shoulder, and it wouldn’t look good otherwise. There’s also a boxy duffel featured on the runway, btw.

I wish it was a tad bigger. from the looks of it, seems like my gym things won’t fit in. I like the color, though. gray is so me.

We don’t have a Prada store here in CPH, either. woe is us.
