on air: michael buble’s everything

It’s been more than 8 months since I last posted a recording and what better way to do one again than with my favorite song of the moment – Michael Buble’s “Everything”.

I met Michael during the early years of his career, when he visited Manila for the first time. Back then, I was with a PR agency and we were doing his publicity – a round of press releases and several media interviews, which we did in his hotel suite, by the way. When we staged a press conference for his visit, every member of the media wanted a slot in. Since then, he skyrocketed to success in Manila, urging a second visit later on. All of these before he became popular in Europe and the US, where Michael has recently reached #1 for the first time in his career.

I remember him as this funny, crazy, talented kid with a crooner voice and a killer charm. And oh, he’s good at rapping, too! Another talent which he surprisingly showcased in one concert I’ve attended. Maybe you’ll hear him rap (and croon, of course) again in his US and Europe concerts this year. Go check out his tour dates here.
