multekrem: the heavenly norwegian dessert

Thanks to Stein for the handpicked cloudberries from North Norway, Knut and I made a special dessert for this evening. Multekrem is a traditional Norwegian dessert made by mixing cloudberries with whipped cream and sugar. I topped my version with physallis.

Is this the same as trogkreme? I once had homemade “troll cream” but can’t remember the berries in it….maybe tyttebaer?

Maybe it’s a different one, Zocalo? I googled Troll Cream and it has cranberries, but one can also use lingonberries (???) as a substitute. I think cloudberry season in Norway is over.
