i’ve got the flower

Finally, after three months of looking, I found a job.I can’t believe it only took one phone call, one e-mailed application, and one interview. And now I have an exciting new job. All in less than 24 hours.I am going to be an assistant in a flower shop, and to a two-time European Champion no less. It’s a farcry from what I used to do and although it’s only part-time, I work Mondays and Wednesdays and on Fridays if needed, this could be the start of something good. And the pay isn’t bad either. It’s great actually, considering where I came from. So what more can I ask for?I was so elated because I was supposed to wait until Monday for a phone call; the owner said he wanted to look at other possible applicants. But 30 minutes after I’ve been to his shop, he called me saying that the phone call came earlier than expected. And that I could sleep well on the weekend.I’m happy I can’t wipe the smile off my face!UPDATEI was supposed to make a Jamie Oliver dinner (Baked Chicken Breasts in Cinnamon Basil) tonight but Knut, Keng and I decided to celebrate at 34 Mediterranean Restaurant at the top of Radisson SAS Plaza, Northern Europe’s highest and Norway’s largest hotel. The food was great and the view was amazing – the Oslo Fjord, Holmenkollen, and Oslo weaved with the city lights.

Congrats MARK!!! That sounds like a fun job. Geeze maybe you can teach us a thing or two about Flowers. We’ve seemed to have killed 2 of our potted flowers from a fungus.

And I love the new design. But then again, you know how much I love photogrpahy…

And then when you dined so high up. My camera would have been with me trying to take in those views.

Hey Ash! I was thinking of that, actually. Once I’ve settled in this job, I’m gonna find another one to fill in the days I’m not working in the flower shop so I could have more money! Bwahaha!

Thanks, brotha! :-) Let me try and catch Ate Tin some time.

    Thanks, Juon!
