Gucci and Frida Giannini served subdued colors punctuated by kilim patterns on clothes and accented by sparse bright hues in some irresistible accessories when it presented its Spring Summer 2010 mens collection in Milan yesterday.
Here are my favorites from the runway.

I am feeling the love for this shirt with a playful pattern. It’s like tanagram pieces strewn over a gorgeous piece of cotton. The loafers in white with silver horsebit detail will be a staple come next spring.

A welcome variation, I like this shirt with geometrical tricks. Very optical illusion!

This luscious jacket with extended silk cuffs is both jovial and mean. The sheen is exciting!

The casual jacket with nylon details on the left is perfect for chilly spring days, whereas the very light pair of shorts looks like a match to beach heaven. The leather tote in grey is to die for (is it croc?). I see the price, I die.

Scooting onto the accessories front, I like this pair of leather moccasins with a Gucci trademark engraved clip closure detail. As well as this generous tote with blue leather trim that’s very simple and clean. It comes in cheery yellow, too.
We love Gucci.
i am so loving the blazers! the first set, right photo, i like the additional detail near the cuffs. galing. the graphic print on the second and third set photos are perfect. loving it. and then here comes THE blazer of the day for me. the close up pattern is so inspiring. gosh, i wonder when i can afford them…haha…
aren’t the shirts so gorgeous?! i figured they’d fit right up your alley. one day, we’ll be able to afford these temptations. :)
Love, love, love the the blazer with tis details embroided. The mocassins in leather are just to die for. And the tote,…..”i faint”.
Hee hee. :)
